For the last few days, we've been looking around for a house. We came across a cute cottage home that was sitting on a rescue farm, and I absolutely loved it. We were able to see the horses and learn their names, and the dogs and cats. Most of them were going to be put to death, but luckily the landlord saved them. She and her friends take care of the animals and keep the land running, which looks like a lot of work, but also loads of fun. The house in itself was o.k. The inside was still being re-constructed so I won't have a good idea of what it'll look like until march. Then we'll probably go have another look at it.
As far as book two is concerned, it's coming along wonderfully. I'm so excited about where the story is going and about finishing it up and getting the editors to have a look at the material. I'm strongly considering running a promotion at the beginning of April once Book Two is done. I'll probably offer Book One for free, just for a couple days, and give readers motivation to purchase Book Two. Over the last two weeks, Amazon KDP has been reconstructing it's website, offering Primer members access to movies and games, so there's been some technical difficulties with the sales reports of it's self-publishers, including myself. That's why I've been pushing the marathon date back, because I've been waiting for them to fix the reports. But as of two days ago, it's back to normal. So if you purchase one of my books, the rank will reflect the sales. At first it was only tallying up sales and not distinguishing rank, at least on mine. Others were having a variety of problems with rankings and reports, but they seem to be fixed thankfully, now that we're well into February.
Thanks a lot guys for being awesome. I also want to say that I'm really proud of you mom. You are meant to shine, shine, shine! You go girl :o)
